WTH&SA FAQ
Why should I join WTHSA?
WTHSA volunteers are what make this such a great and productive organization! WTHSA’s goal is to develop and implement events and fundraisers that help support the school district and create opportunities for communication and connection. By becoming a member, you will have the chance to help the organization reach this goal!
Where does my money go when I pay membership dues?
WTHSA membership dues directly support your child. WTHSA dues help fund school activities and programs, field trips and staff appreciation events.
Does WTHSA membership require volunteering and attending meetings?
Nope! The only thing required of you to be a member of WTHSA is to pay the annual membership dues. Beyond that, you choose how much volunteer work fits your schedule. WTHSA does hold monthly meetings to help keep members informed, but attendance is not mandatary.
How much time do I have to commit to being a member of WTHSA?
Membership in WTHSA can involve as much or as little time as you have to offer. There is no wrong or right way to be involved – anything you can give, whether it’s time or money, will support your child’s potential.
How do I become a Head Room Parent or Room Parent?
Sign ups for Head Room Parent/Room Parents typically occur in September. In order to be included as a room parent for your child’s class you must be up-to-date with your membership dues.
